- the extreme dropout rate at Colorado's colleges? At some, as high as 60% of students in the first year?
- our high schools are losing on average almost a third of their graduates each year? And that this amounts to more than $3.4 billion annually in lost earnings?
- rural adults earn about 25% less than city workers who do the same job? That rural people experience poverty 15% more often? And that Colorado has the fastest growing Child-Poverty rate in the nation?

There's been just one great success story in the world of Colorado schooling: Adult Education.
For decades now, it has provided FREE, creative, yet low-cost and amazingly efficient learning to working men and women and their families. While Colorado's colleges (public and private) and secondary schools seem to devour ever-increasing amounts of state funding--despite their inability to slow the escalating failure and dropout rates of students--Adult Education has consistently salvaged the life opportunities of citizens and expanded their productivity.

Today, Adult Educators are continuing their mission of adult growth and family survival by providing BRIDGE courses for WorkForce programs and regional colleges--helping people win at the systems they might otherwise "fail."
Still, Adult Ed Agencies remain virtually unacknowledged in this critical effort. We need your involvement! So come celebrate with us!
