Having several strands, the PRCLC Adult Education program covers a spectrum of learning opportunities:

  • Digital Literacy
  • Community Education
  • Foundational Education and GED
  • College Prep
  • and Work Readiness.

By enabling smooth transitions between subjects, we hope adults will see themselves as lifelong learners and find fast, practical application of their skills.

PRCLC Adult Education networks with various community partners — such as Public Libraries, Colleges, Workforce Centers, Chambers of Commerce, Court and Treatment agencies, Health and Social Services, and the Southern Ute Tribe. In this way, we’re can connect multiple pathways for career and life advancement, and provide a bridge for new personal achievement.

As the “flagship” of our 30-year enterprise, PRCLC Adult Education strives to bring people together for mutual excellence, doers and thinkers alike. Our teachers and students nourish rural life and tradition, and enrich the well-being of all citizens in La Plata County.
