Dropout rates in Colorado are at an all-time high — nearly a third of children in public school now will not make it to high-school graduation.
For decades, abundant research has shown that improved support of families could counteract this crisis, and even boost children’s performance levels in school.
This is where we come in: we assist parents in the hurdles of modern education, help kids recognize their family's investment, and collaborate with local schools to excite children's learning. We help families support each other, and advocate the community.
It takes a village to raise a child: sharing, working together, succeeding together for the excellence of the next generation.

The BackPack Project

A "backpack" is a take-home box filled with books, puzzles, toys, and educational activities. BackPack data shows a clear correlation for families who use such tools and their children's improved CSAP scores at school. You can check out a different backpack each month (like a library book), and suggest ideas for new ones!
Family Nights

Each month PRCLC hosts a Family Night centered on a different theme: spotlighting a new children's book, fun activities, and a potluck dinner. For more information on this month's Family Night event, please see below.
